Last night we walked from our home in Lake St. Charles to the annual Block Party at Resurrection Church.  Our children enjoy this event every year and it is just one of the great features of living in Lake St. Charles and the Riverview Community in general!  The Block Party has rides and venders of every sort, as well as all the much loved carnival food!  we have also found that this festival is much more reasonably priced than other in the area!  It is a great way to get out and talk with neighbors, the kids see their friends and everyone seems to enjoy themselves!  Every year we must also play the ring toss game to try to win more goldfish for our fish tank.  It has become the Soto family tradition! The festival runs from Friday night October 20th, 2006 to Sunday October 22, 2006 so come out and have some fun. Missed it this year?  This event occurs every October and is sposored by Resurrection Catholic Church.  What a great community event!
